22/06/09 Woodfuel East Strategic Investment Support Programme

This exciting new woodfuel strategic investment support programme is now up and running. The Woodfuel East programme is designed to administer grant funding towards harvesting and processing equipment to produce woodchip, storage and drying facilities and hard standing / access tracks within woodland. The grants are awarded through the European Rural Development Programme and are subject to eligibility criteria. To be eligible for funding the applicant will need to be a woodland owner or a micro enterprise, producing woodfuel from virgin roundwood timber.

The Woodfuel East Strategic Investment Support Programme is a continuous rolling application process running up to the end of 2013. A copy of funding guidelines can be downloaded from the link below.
