Gilles augers are designed and built to deal with the coarse nature of woodchip. The solid steel shaft and continuously welded progressive auger ensure the woodchip is transferred smoothly and evenly through to the boiler. The high torque motors and sealed gear boxes deliver more than enough power to deal with the specified chip.
The Gilles patented "Cell wheel" eliminates burn back, acting as a barrier between fuel transfer and boiler as well as cutting oversize chips to protect burner components. |
