The directors wanted to demonstrate their commitment to the installation of Low Carbon technologies. A wood pellet boiler was the only such system which could provide all heating and hot water requirements, using a mixture of new underfloor heating systems and existing radiators. Wood pellets were chosen over woodchip due to the limited space available for fuel storage.

FUEL STORE

Space on the site was limited, hence the decision to go for pellets. The pellet store was designed to receive blown deliveries at around 3 tonne at a time amounting to around three deliveries a year.
