Installation

Biomass installation. Commercial heating uk. District heating uk    Our team of mechanical design engineers work with our project managers, installation engineers, as well as a number of sub-contractors to ensure the systems are transformed effectively from concepts through to installations, with an emphasis on delivering practical, long-term solutions.

Collection system delivered.   When the boiler room is ready for our equipment to be installed, the boiler and collection system will be delivered, usually on a lorry with HIAB crane. It may be that, if we are providing the fuel store, it is delivered at the same time.

Our installation engineers will install the boiler and fuel transfer system in accordance with drawings issued by our design department. Although we work with subcontractors on building works and pipe fitting, we always install the boilers ourselves to ensure assembly and electrical installation is carried out correctly.

Biomass heating installation in line with requirements, planning, and client's personal preference   A flue contractor will be commissioned to install a suitable flue system, in line with boiler requirements, planning requirements and the client’s personal preference.

At this stage the system should be almost ready for commissioning. We would usually expect to spend around half a day commissioning a small system. This would usually be combined with the first session of operator training. This would be followed up with another commissioning visit within the next two weeks following an initial run in period. At this stage a second period of training can be provided.

Further to this, if possible, we always install a remote access link to the system, which allows our technicians to view boiler performance and undertake system diagnostics over an internet connection.
